Jenesse Corcoran Assumes Role as Director of Marketing for Lawson-Hawks

Said John Miller of Ms. Corcoran’s appointment, “With our sustained growth in the commercial lines marketplace as well as the undertaking of a number of national affinity programs, we simply thought the time was right to ask Jenesse to assume a lead role in the creation and operation of a dedicated Marketing Department for commercial lines risks. Jenesse has been at Lawson-Hawks for almost fifteen years and has added a steady hand to our growth and diversification in the commercial marketplace. She has worn many hats and served in a number of key roles, but I always knew that marketing was her first love. Now we have the opportunity to turn over the reins of a dedicated department to Jenesse and we expect that it will benefit both the clients of the Agency and Lawson-Hawks has a whole. Jenesse will be able apply her considerable experience in unique placements and the fulfillment of increasingly distinctive risks. Additionally, Jenesse will oversee marketing for a number of national affinity clients that have trusted Lawson-Hawks to aid them in membership expansion.”

Ms. Corcoran has over thirty years of experience in underwriting, servicing and placing commercial lines risks. Prior to joining Lawson-Hawks, she was affiliated with Calco and Willis Insurance Services. She has participated in the oversight of a number of national affinity group placements and worked with Lawson-Hawks’ numerous “main-street carriers” as well as overseen surplus lines placements.

“I’m delighted at the opportunity and eager for the challenge,” said Ms. Corcoran. “This is something that I have wanted to do for years and now the opportunity has arrived. The business has certainly changed over the years and I welcome being part of this expansion at Lawson-Hawks. We really have a great team here and this opportunity to develop a more esoteric division excites all of us,” Ms. Corcoran commented.
