According to Joe Montes, president, “Of the many things a prospective seller should consider, ‘unresolved complaints’ must be high on your list. These complaints are a clear warning that tells you something is not quite right with this buyer because where selling your valuable property is concerned, a bad experience from prior sellers is indeed something for you to be concerned about.”
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) Keeps Records of Complaints
The BBB has been recording complaints from unhappy customers for more than 100 years. They record details about complaints and don’t charge people anything to read them. The facts are just a simple mouse click away on the BBB website http://www.BBB.com .
Let’s be honest. Any company that does a large volume of business online or offline, is bound to earn a few complaints from disgruntled customers, and, of course, not all of these are fair. Some folks are just never happy! However if these complaints remain unresolved or totally ignored, this tells you that the buyer’s customer service leaves much to be desired. Lots of complaints and/or pending lawsuits, is a strong indication that selling your gold, silver or platinum property to this company might just be mistake. An honest, ethical business has a customer service department that makes every-possible effort to resolve a customer’s complaint and, in most cases, they will. If punctually solved, the complaint is no longer ‘unresolved’ and is of far less concern.
Most complaints fall into categories such as these:
- They keep saying that my property was never received
- The check I received was much. much less than my items were worth
- My e-mails and telephone calls don’t do me any good at all
- It’s been a two weeks since my items were delivered and I still don’t have a check.

Joe Montes continued, “We can’t understate just how important it is to check-out a gold Internet buyer if you haven’t dealt with them before. Start with the BBB and also look at a few sites on the web that record consumer complaints. Websites such as www.RipOffReport.com, www.CashforGoldComplaints.com and others are valuable resources you should check with before you even consider mailing-out your property to an Internet buyer of precious metals that you don’t know anything about.
We also suggest that you not be sold a bill of goods just because you’ve seen a buyer’s commercials on TV. Check them out. It’s FREE and it pays in the end to be careful.”
